A small poster on the glass front of a hotel caught our attention, and after another too, below the church of St. Anargyroi, and others and others in this bustling neighborhood of Psirri. This was a monitoring call with literary criteria of the walks of a Greek senior writer Alexander PAPADIAMANTIS (1851-1911) what he wrote when he lived in this area of Athens ..

The walk in the center of Athens, at friends recommendations, included Psirri, where the collapsed due to economic crisis landscape is still commercially alive thanks to the awesome graffiti, inspired cafes, eateries, grillhouses, taverns, hotels  and many new shops.
