Central Railway Station of Athens or "Larissis Station" was inaugurated on March 8, 1904 and January 28, 2000 the Larissa Metro Station. Located at Theodorou Diligianni & Domokos streets. Very close to the City of Athens Municipal Library. Since then many things have passed by..
So happens Athens visitors who come from the north of the country have chosen to stay at the http://www.nestoriohotel.gr, Pentelis 8, Paleo Faliro. Sometimes guests of the hotel wish to visit by rail Halkida or ancient Corinth. These two towns are both great one-day excursion and they can combine sightseeing of attractions, monuments, museums and swimming in summer.
